Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and situated in a valley, approximately at a height of 4,600 ft., surrounded by four major mountains namely Shivapuri, Phulchowki, Nagarjun and Chandragiri. Chitwan National Park: One of the UNESCO Natural Heritage Site declared in 1979 located in the Chitwan district of Nepal is known as Chitwan National Park. Chitwan lies in southern central Nepal and the National Park covers 932sq.km with deciduous forests overlooking the floodplains of Narayani, Rapti and Reu rivers. The park headquarters at Kasara is 21 km drive from Bharatpur which is 20 minutes by air or 146 km by road from Kathmandu. Chitwan National Park offers a wilderness of rich ecosystem that includes mammals, birds, reptiles and water animals of several kinds. The highlights of this park are the 500 Asian one-horned rhinoceros and some hundred nocturnal Royal Bengal Tigers that live in the dense forests of the park including several other wild life animals and plants.
Pokhara, the beautiful city widening of the Seti Gandaki valley in eastern region of Nepal located in the mid hill (Madhya Pahad) of the Himalayas in Nepal is known as Pokhara. The elevation of this area rises very quickly from about 1000m to over 7500m within 30km distance. Hence, the precipitation rate in the area is the highest in Nepal. The Seti Gandaki (White River) is the main river flowing through the city heart and the tributaries have created several gorges and canyons in and around the whole city which gives interestingly long sections of terrace features to the city and surroundings. Today you will have a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu with the best tourist guide of the town.
After the breakfast, we will escort you to Pashupatinath- the largest Hindu Temple of Nepal in a private vehicle. The temple dedicated to supreme Hindu God, Shiva banks Bagmati River. At Pashupatinath you will get to see exceptionally carved statues and idols of Hindu deities, a long row of Shiva-Lings, series of small temples and the golden hood at the top of main Temple is truly fascinating. Moreover, an opportunity to witness the Hindu Death ritual at Aryaghat Pashupatinath is an offbeat cultural experience. After the exploration of Pashupatinath we will walk along the busy streets of Kathmandu to Boudhanath. Post lunch the sightseeing tour continues to Kathmandu Durbar Square. The exemplary wooden and stone craftsmanship at the site makes a place the prominent attraction for tourists. The journey on the Nepalese highway offer an opportunity to encounter the rural lifestyle and Prithivi Highway offers even more; enchanting Trsihuli landscapes and adventurous white water rafting. 5 hours of smooth drive followed by an hour-long bumpy ride would bring you to the resort in Chitwan National Park.
After the lunch at the resort, your Jungle Safari at Chitwan begins. Chitwan National Park, a protected forests comprises sal trees, marshlands and rippling grasslands and covers the total area of 932 sq. km. One of the few last habitats for endangered one-horned rhino, Royal Bengal Tiger and gangetic dolphin, the park offers one of the best wildlife safaris on a back of giant Asian Elephant. During the Safari, you will penetrate the community jungles trying to sight the wild life in the wilds. After the safari you will ride back to your resort. A full day safari activity in Chitwan National Park offers several activities. Early morning as you wake up after the wake up call, you will go for the Nature walk with the local wildlife expert. Nature walk allows you to sight the birding activities at full swing in the banks of Rapti River. The park also houses several hundred species of residential and migratory birds. After the nature walk, you will return to the resort and enjoy the breakfast. Post breakfast, you will go for the canoeing in Rapti River. The ride to Pokhara is also on a snakelike highway, which winds on the cliff above Himalayan Rivers like Trishuli, Marsyangdi and Seti. Five hours of road journey will bring you to Pokhara. Pokhara is an enchanting town known for its unique geographical formation. Lakes, caves, gorges, hilltops and the views of mesmerizing Annapurna Himalayan Range and matchless Fishtail are exceptional highlights of Pokhara. On your arrival at Pokhara you will be transferred to your hotel in the city.
The most beautiful ever awakening happens here in Pokhara. Wake up to view the enticing white mountains from the window of your hotel-room. Then you will board a private vehicle to drive to Sarangkot, a hill station popular for aerial adventures like paragliding and zip-flying is also the most popular hilltop in Pokhara for magical sunrise view and wide range of Himalayas of Annapurna Region. Half an hour drive followed by 15-20 minute of walk will bring you to Sarangkot. After spending sufficient time at Sarangkot, you will drive back to your hotel. Post lunch the guided sightseeing tour of Pokhara begins. The mystical Davis Fall, underneath Mahendra and Bat Caves, deep-seated Seti River Gorge and of course the fantastically indelible boating at crystal clear Fewa Lake are the must experience highights of Pokhara. At the end of the day you will drive back to your hotel.
Today you will drive on the snaky Prithivi Highway to Kathmandu in a tourist coach. Witnessing the rural landscapes dominated by lush vegetation and rushing rivers is full of fun throughout the drive. The rural culture is also a fascinating reward of the ride. 200 kilometers of ride that takes seven full hours will finally bring you to Kathmandu.
On your arrival to Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the evening, you are invited to a cultural restaurant in Kathmandu for the farewell dinner.
