On arrival in Shanghai, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time the rest of the day is at your leisure.
This morning you will travel to Shanghai by flight. Shanghai is best known as the icon of modern China. You will discover the beauty of bustling Shanghai by visiting Shanghai Museum, Xin Tian Di and the fascinating local attraction the Bund. Shanghai Museum is the perfect place to learn about the fascinating history and culture of Shanghai. The Xin Tian Di is one of the most popular new entertainment districts in Shanghai, located near the former French Concession and full of boutiques, restaurants and art galleries. And to the round of the tour be impressed by the combination of traditional Chinese and Western culture and enjoy the walk on the bund - this famous water-front boardwalk. This evening you can enjoy the night at leisure. Your leader will be available to assist with the arrangements if you wish to join our recommended activities.

Later in the day, you'll travel to Beijing the capital of China and it has long served as a political and cultural center throughout China's history, spanning over 3,000 years.

Today you will travel to the north of Beijing to one of China's most iconic attractions the Great Wall, the largest defensive structure in the world. On the way, you'll visit the largest jade producer in Beijing and learn about the history and manufacturing process of China's most precious and celebrated stone. After a chance to climb the wall and stop for lunch, you'll experience a traditional Chinese tea ceremony and sample some of China's locally favored brews at a tea house. This evening, you can enjoy the night at leisure. Your leader will be available to assist with any arrangements you may wish to make.

Today is a long day of travel. You'll travel on the bullet train from Beijing to Yichang Pier where you'll check-in to your 5-star cruise ship on Yangtze River.
Your first day on the Yangtze River will begin with a beautiful buffet breakfast before setting out on your first shore excursion to the Three Gorges Project. This is one of the largest construction projects undertaken by mankind and is the biggest hydropower project in the world. Throughout the day, there are also other optional shore excursions (not included) available and the cruise staffs will assist you with the arrangements if you are willing to join. This evening you will return to the ship and attend the Captain's Welcome Banquet and enjoy an evening of entertainment.
Today you'll enjoy a shore excursion to the mesmerizing Shennong Stream. The stream flows through three beautiful gorges including the Mianzhu Gorge, Parrot Gorge, and Longcangdong Gorge. each gorge is renowned for its unique and stunning scenery. the Shennong Stream is also home to the Hanging Coffins, which are ancient coffins containing the remains of descendants of the Tujia people. Throughout the day, there are also other optional shore excursions (not included) available and the cruise staffs will assist you with the arrangements if you are willing to join. In the afternoon, you'll return to the ship in time for lunch and enjoy the crew's performance in the evening.
Today your shore excursion will take you to the legendary Shibaozhai. This site has a history of over 400 years when it was built into the side of a 200-metre-tall hill. The striking 9 stories red pagoda was built in 1819 to make it easier for people to reach the Buddhist temple at the very top of the hill. Throughout the day, there are also other optional shore excursions (not included) available and the cruise staffs will assist you with the arrangements if you are willing to join. This evening you'll enjoy a Farewell Dinner with the rest of the travelers and crew and prepare for disembarkation tomorrow morning.
Relax and enjoy your final breakfast before disembarking in Chongqing ready for your onward journey to Xian. After check-in to the hotel, enjoy the hotel surrounding at leisure.
Today you will visit the Terracotta Warriors in the company of an experienced local guide. View the enigmatic ranks of the warriors and you may even meet the man who discovered them a local farmer who stumbled upon them in 1974. In the afternoon you'll visit the famous Moslem Street, where many delicious local snacks and souvenirs are available for purchase.
Today is at leisure, you can explore Xian at your own pace. Alternatively, if you are willing to join our recommended activities, your tour leader will assist you with the arrangements.

- Dumpling Banquet Dinner: The region's unique cuisine of dumplings, around 20 different types of dumplings, which are steamed and stuffed with a delicious assortment of vegetables, meats and seafood.
Enjoy some breakfast before you are transferred to the airport, ready for your onward flight.
